  • National Public Lands Day

Celebrate National Public Lands Day at Greenbelt National Park with a clean-up of Still Creek.

WHEN: Saturday, September 26th, 9 AM to 12 noon
WHERE: Meet at the intersection of Good Luck Road and Kenilworth Ave (Berwyn Heights). Please park your car on the shoulder of northbound Kenilworth Ave. Bring your gloves and boots if you have some! This event is in conjunction with and sponsored by Greenbelt National Park. Rain or Shine.

  • Friends of Still Creek Monthly Meetings

Attend the next meeting of the Friends of Still Creek to learn about your local watershed and to help shape the future of this dynamic group dedicated to protecting Still Creek, Greenbelt Park's greatest asset!

WHEN: Monday, October 4th (Nov. 1, Dec. 6)
from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
WHERE: Greenbelt Park Ranger Station Classroom

  • Greenbrook Lake Cleanup

We come back and maintain the water quality of the lake by cleaning out accumulated garbage.

WHEN: Saturday, October 23th, 9 AM to 12 noon
WHERE: Meet at Schrom Hills Park off Hanover Parkway in Greenbelt East. Take a left turn immediately at the entrance and park in that area of the lot. We will walk the trail to the pond from there.

  • "Sunrise Property" Cleanup

Our "classic" cleanup site behind the Greenbelt Dog Park.

WHEN: Saturday, November 13th, 10 AM to 12 noon
WHERE: Please meet at the end of Hanover Drive, near the recycling bins and Greenbelt dog park, in Greenbelt East, off of Hanover Parkway in Greenbelt East . Please bring gloves and boots if you have them. Rain or Shine.
